Some good stuff recently about bluegrass rhythm playing.
One thing I do is play simple single note lines, on the offbeat. These
lines lead between the root notes of the chords, the 1 draw, 2 draw and
4 blow.
Best to hear it. Listen to the the 3rd chorus of "Whiskey Before
Breakfast", you'll get the idea. I'm using a Major Cross tuned
harmonica, but the notes can be played on regular harmonicas as well.
