SPAH is not a business driven by a profit line. People volunteer all those hours and work because of their passions for the instrument. Decisions are made by the Board of Directors and doing the "right thing" for the whole harmonica community is a strong value that is held. SPAH is not here to compete with harmonica players trying to make a living.
SPAH does not hold contests to see who's best. It's the harmonica! Just my opinion but that's been my experience so far as a SPAH member.
