One simple solution to this problem is to create a dropbox account and
place all the songs from previous albums in it. Go to www.dropbox.com
It's very easy to set up. You just drag and drop files into it once you've
got the program, and everybody on the list can download whatever files they
want from it. You'd just have to decide who the administrator of the
dropbox account would be. Perhaps Mr. Lifford since he has all the past
albums. Or the harp-l list owner could be the administrator, and he could
give Mr. Lifford permission to upload all his songs onto it. It could be a
semi-private account accessible only to harp-l list members, and you
wouldn't have any issues of the people out there stealing songs. And no
money would have to change hands anywhere.
