[Harp-L] When a reed wont tune?

recently got my first Seydel Session Pro. Like it, not as bright as i'd hoped but feels good and love the finish on the comb. Anyway after two gigs the 4 blow reed went really flat. Unusual reed to go flat on me, i have tried to tune it up but it isnt shifting in pitch. I'm guessing this means its really fatigued or fractured etc. Can anyone help me on this? Its about 2/3 weeks old and I haven't hammered it at all. Surely this shouldn't have happened to such a new quality harp?
