Just noticed there is a new video up featuring the very under-recorded
Chicago blues harpist Ron Sorin:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7dv6XlQzOs&feature=BFa&list=AVGxdCwVVULXcTK3A_o0YB29G9Bzf0I9xz&index=2.
As in the "I Got Love" video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HK_iO1Qf7gg), he
is working with Big Shoulders, a now-defunct American roots music band that
was very inventive in how it used the harmonica. These cuts are over 20
years old.
As I've mentioned before, Ron Sorin has recorded a blues CD and hopefully
will release it sometime this year. After 30 years as a blues sideman in
Chicago, it will be his first recording as a bandleader.
