I meant no disrespect to Harrison Harmonicas or to Dave Payne (what a hoot
that he authored the controversial text!)
But I pretty much expect the harmonicas that come to me for repair to be
used, and in need of a certain amount of cleanup--hold the pizza please.
I REALLY hate chromatics with lubricants all over everything, and never
advocate the use of petroleum products to grease the slide.
If y'all feel like cleaning the instruments up first, before they are to be
repaired, it is appreciated--but not expected or required.
And just FYI, Suzuki US is raising their prices as of May 1, 2011 by
10%--now is the time to buy from your favorite vendor if you are going to
buy any time soon.
