[Harp-L] Bullet proof reeds (Was: Stainless steel vs. brass/other reeds)



Stainless steel Reeds can still be broken. They sound a little different too. 
I would think you would select a harmonica for the tone. And then learn how to maintain them . . .
There's lots of folks willing to repair your harmonicas at very reasonable prices.

Seydel claims their stainless reed/reedplate "lives longer" - can anyone confirm? It's worth it to me to minimize changing out worn reedplates if their claim is true.
