Re: [Harp-L] HARPAPALOOZA 7
Hey all. If your in the Harrisburg, PA area on Saturday, do yourself a favor
and check out this show. This will be my 3rd year and
I'm stoked. It's always a riot and a great show. Even better, it's for a
great cause.

Hello! I know gig promotion is not something that is done here but I wanted
to let you know about a special event.....Nate Myers & the Aces' annual
fundraiser, HARPAPALOOZA. Harpapalooza is a benefit concert held in
Harrisburg, PA, which features a number of regional harmonica players. All
money raised at the event is donated to the American Diabetes Association
for diabetes research.
HARPAPALOOZA 7 will be on Saturday, April 16, at Appalachian Brewing Company
in Harrisburg, PA. We're really excited to have another great lineup this
year!!! NATE MYERS will kick things off with a set, followed by DAVE
HOLTZMAN from the Philly-area blues band, Little Red Rooster. Next up, TOM
TOWNSLEY and SCOTT BERBERIAN (owner/builder of Meteor Amplifiers), both
making the trip from NY. Scott has supported Harpapalooza over the past few
years by graciously providing his custom harp amps for the performers to use
on stage. We are thrilled he is joining the lineup this year! Co-headlining
the event will be two of the top harmonica players in contemporary blues,
sharing the stage as a duo.....STEVE GUYGER and
DENNIS GRUENLING!!!
There is also a silent auction and other giveaways!!! Hope some of you East
Coast folks can make the trip to PA for Harpapalooza! It's a really good
time.......and a great cause!
