Re: [Harp-L] Boss Loop Station mod (Question for Brendan Power)

The RC-50 is an interesting box - 3 channels, which can either be used to layer
independently, or switched sequentially. Each can be separately overdubbed.
Short of a multitrack recording system, it is the only game in town for
multitrack.

It includes quite a large rhythm selection (though only 4 bar patterns). It can
mix 3 sources, in full stere It also has quite a lot of MIDI features - though
you should use this as the master; as slave, clock changes cause sound
distortion.

Downside? It's huge, quite expensive and showing its age a little. You can get
stuff in and out, by WAV files via USB. You get (off the top of my head) 49
minutes in stereo and 99 in mono, but can't use expansion memory, like the
JamMan series.

Bruce Mathiske was mentioned on the MBH forum and I came across this
video by him demonstrating a high end looping station ... Boss RC-50
... $500 ...

Perhaps it could be useful for those who play multiple harmonica types
... bass, chord, chrome, diatonic, etc?
