SmoJoe is doing his thing in Joisey! Great news. My class will be called
"Discover the Harmonica" which is geared towards total newbies of the
diatonic.

Mine is called: "smo-joe tuning..why?" The reason it's not called country tuning is because it is used for ALL music. Pop, jazz, doo- wop, dance, big band, show tunes. I will be explaining and demonstrating. Even though I don't know what I'm doing

Dennis Gruenling will be on hand to do a blues class and Rob
Paparozzi will most likely do another class on transitioning from diatonic
to chomatic. We are looking to make the GSH Festival "ALL HARMONICA
FRIENDLY". In the past the diatonic has taken a back seat to the chromatic
and ensemble playing.

Maybe in your neck of the woods, but I use multiple diatonics on Wednesday nights and we play a variety of styles. Both instruments fit in with a band situation. We are using: B3 organ, piano, drums, bass, guitar, sometimes trumpet, saxes, and harmonicas. Occasional flute, trombone, and even oboe, penny whistle and clarinette. lololol
