As I understand the Bulletizer, it is simply (and likely elegantly) a means to thicken the small diameter shaft of the SM57 so as to make it easier to grip and play more like a bullet mic, if that's what you're used to playing. If that alone changes the tone for you, then it was probably a wise purchase. I own one of Greg's Ultimate 57s and I love it without the bulletizer. Great mic. Great vendor. Great service and great source of harmonica knowlege.
