<  IÂm fairly realistic when it comes to this kind of set-up -- tried quite a few of <them, but never Digitech -- and know that itÂs no holy grail. Still, very appealing <thought to put one of these gadgets in your pocket and be ready to rock.

The "lower-order" Digitechs are okay.  However, as with any amp modeler/multi FX device, it takes time to program them to make the sounds you want.  The factory presets are mostly useless for harp.  And the lower order devices give you fewer amp models, much LESS control over EQ, amp settings, etc.  Once you realize that the programming time is the major investment you make in the device, it doesn't make sense to save $50-75 by buying a less-functional device. That's why I don't sell patch sets for those devices.

Recent price drops have put RP355s at about $165 retail.  With prices that low, I don't consider it worth anyone's while to buy less functional gear.  The RP255 is the lowest model I would recommend to anyone.
