It's funny, I knew this tune (had played it before) but didn't know
it--guess the leader didn't call the name of the tune--probably part of a
"Umbrellas of Cherborg" medley or something.
The only overblow on the IV6/V6 tuning is the b6, and that note does not
occur in this tune--but to play it low enough, it's better to use a harp
that starts two holes lower--
After Brendan posted the formula for the Powerbender, I started re-examining
the IV6/V6 again--it's biggest drawback is that it has no tonic chord, so I
modified the two harps I had tuned to the inversion such that there is a
tonic draw chord on 1, 2, 3.
So I am using this harp to play the tune on this new YouTube--it's not
perfect but it does demonstrate that it can be done.
