Brad Paisley, the country music star who has a reputation of being a 
really good guitar player along with his singing and songwriting... told 
me a couple years ago that he had tried to learn harmonica, but quit 
because it was too hard.
Now, with his talent, I have little doubt that he could have learned it, 
but his talents obviously were more tied to guitar.
  I can play a little guitar and some bass. I personally think 
harmonica is much harder to learn. I also think someone who already is 
proficient on another instrument could learn harmonica much faster than 
a slug like me...
