It is impossible to give a neutral answer as to which is easier to learn 
and play. But you might consider that in a given genre, in this case 
blues, there are 13 talented guitar players to a dozen. But only a 
handful of talented harmonica players. My guess is that the same goes 
for rock, folk, C&W, and most other styles. Don't know if this has 
anything to do with the challenge of learning to play but a pro harp 
player makes an audience a lot wilder than a pro guitar player.
