For the last couple of years i've been using an SWR Baby Baby Blue
acoustic bass amp as my primary amp for gigging and i love it. I've
also had the opportunity to play through other bass amps every now
and then and i like the sound (Btw, I'm not into crunch and distortion).
Anyway, I'm not particularly knowledgeable about such things, but I
understand that when amp techs modify guitar amps for harp they
change the coupling capacitors to get stronger signal in the low mid
range as that is what is supposed to sound good for harmonica. Does
anyone know if bass amps have similar coupling cap specs which would
explain why I like the sound i get playing through a bass amp? Just
curious.
