Ridiculing British pronunciation is cute but who is to say that an
artist is good or bad in his or her own dialect?
Related to that, I was in Dublin Ireland and happened to walk into a
record store and asked if they had any Irish blues CDs. First off, they
offered Rory Gallagher and Van Morrison. And I said, no, I mean real
blues. Finally they found Hollywood Slim & The Fat Cats. I asked the
owner to play it and after two minutes I said this is US West Coast, so
where is the Irish CD? But it is actually Hollywood Slim and the four
piece band from Ireland. Pronouncing is very West Coast US-style, and on
top of that, excellent harp that matches many players worldwide.
