Amen to you Maurice. I too find myself amazed at how many sit by the edge of
the pool and don't just dive in. We MUST feed our passions to have truly
happy life. A successful "overblow" will never be as rewarding and
fulfilling as spending a few days with like minded people and just sharing
what you already know. The act of being "open eared" to others on the
journey is very rewarding as well. At festivals I "get off" more listening
to others than hearing myself. I can self indulge 300+ days a year. Those
choice few days a year I get to be an audience for my fellow harpists,
PRICELESS!
