Re: [Harp-L] PowerBender in Public Use

Thanks for providing the links Brendan. The Paclin shows that the PowerBender can work well for blues, but as I listened to Alex's other videos of blues playing, I wondered which of those used your new tuning, if any. Anyway, I for one would appreciate getting links to any other videos featuring the PowerBender applied to blues or jazz. Offlist would be OK, but I suspect that others share my interest.

It takes a while to learn a new harmonica tuning, but some early adopters of
the PowerBender tuning are now starting to use it in public.

Canada's bluegrass maestro Mike Stevens is a total convert: I have made 14
Manji PowerBenders for him, and recently retuned 22 of his Filisko harps to
the tuning (10 reeds per harp = 220 reeds, a mind-bending job!). Mike told
me that he used the PowerBender for the first time on a recording session
  today.

Another very talented player who has got his lips well round the PowerBender
is the young Russian harp tsar/star Alex Paclin. Check out his cool solo in
this video, on a PowerBender in A (2:20 onwards):
