If you must have an exact replacement to preserve the vintage appearance of the amp, take the old handle to a shoe repair shop.
If you simply need a functional handle, you can buy a sturdy metal one at the hardware store, then wrap it with a leather strip from a bicycle shop...the kind used for wrapping handlebars.
