RE: [Harp-L] Question
I dont know who is on the JL cut. However, just FYI (if ya dont already know) Jr Wells has a good version. I especially like Paul Butterfield's version. I do it in B, 2nd position, use an E harp. Start out with strong attack drawing holes 3 & 4 .... well you'll figure ir out. There is a part in there where there is an extra half measure (short time signature change?) or something like that and once you get it in your 'head' it becomes second nature. THEN you have to teach it to the guitar player. :D
Also, check out Mark & Robben Ford doing their take on the Butterfield version. It is most excellent. Robben says the Butterfield's band was the reason he started playing the guitar and his brother Mark is a great harp player. Great song and always a crowd pleaser! Nice taste on your part, Tony.
