Re: [Harp-L] Embouchure (Richard Hunter, Larry Marks)

In "Effortless Mastery" the pianist Kenny Werner says that one of his teachers told him to "Master technique so your spirit can sour with the music."

Stop thinking and start playing. You play with your soul not with
techniques,.

Every time you ask "how do I do that?" or "how did ---- do that?", the answer is about technique.

The best players have practiced enough so that the techniques they use are as natural to them as breathing. Most people who never work on technique end up playing the same thing over and over, because they're trapped inside the very few techniques they know.

You have to work to be able to play great. That 10,000 hour rule is for real.
