RE: [Harp-L] local harmonica talent

Wow, I remember James Montgomery from the early 70's when I went to Bridgewater State College. Is he still out playing?

Also saw J Geils Band (Magic Dick) play very small venues: Gloucester High School Gym in about 1970 as well as a coffee shop in Ipswich around that time (along with about 20 Hells Angels whom Geils seemed to attract!).

While reminiscing...... I saw Bonnie Raitt at the same Ipswich coffee house before her first album was released. She _opened_ for John Hammond who joined her on a couple of numbers playing harp.
