[Harp-L] Tombo pocket bass ... retuning...?

I'm quite taken with the layout of the Tombo pocket bass -- pretty clever really.


However, I reckon there's room for improvement.  Does anyone know if reeds that big and heavy retune well?  How far are you liable to be able to get them before they become unstable or weak?
