[Harp-L] Re: a tribute to Charles Leighton

 The GSHC shindig at Trumpets Jazz Club in Montclair, NJ was really fortunate to have Rob participate with vocals and harmonica doing his usual multi-talented act  leading off our show in which he gave a fabulous performance, as always. He jumped up with me when I did my last number which was a tribute to Charley that we had both discussed.  The piano player set the tempo and we just spontaneously hit it!  Rob is the type of guy who will automatically just get you into a positive groove! He's about as cool of a dude as could be and has it all as a great performer. Rob didn't mention that we was the one who hosted and was the front man for most of the show, greatly contributing to it being such a success.  You can see Rob in action in this video. He is a member and wonderful friend of the Garden State Harmonica Club and is a person you just have to like! Our next Trumpets event will have a blues theme with Rob, Dennis Gruenling and more performers, possibly in September. We will keep you posted. Hats off to Rob for all of his help!
