I have more information regarding my friend DIRK.  He will be missed. One of the great men of all time. Though he did not play harmonica, his devotion to TOOTS makes him very special to the harmonica community. I knew DIRK personally and he reminded me in many ways of the great pete pederson. 

Perhaps Pete needed Dirk to help him out up there.............
