Ok you harp customizer gurus,
Just little ole me asking to get a few tips on working up harps. Disclaimer:
I have no interest stay up all night to fix other people's harps for $5
dollars an hour or whatever you guys make...I just WANT TO WORK ON MINE
ONLY!
Currently I am doing:
embossing REED slots
reed gapping, arcing
replace plastic combs with sealed maple wood when possible
Sand and seal cheap wood combs
Add extra screws to plates
Tuning, perfect octaves etc.
My next project is to try 'scooping."
any advice on list or off lise, very appreciated.
