David Barrett has published about 52 books and CDs and videos through Mel 
Bay. Barrett has 3 CDs out. Check out one of his books or videos to see what 
his teaching style is like. Or check out the preview on his web site.

Howard Levy has participated on more than 150 recordings. He has a teaching 
video from Homespun.com and he has a recent teaching video, "Out of the 
Box." See the videos on his site. 

Levy tends to focus on jazz; Barrett works with the blues. There isn't much 
overlap. So both could be beneficial.
