Hi Geoff
200 ohms is low impedance, but that's not necessarily any indication of how the mic will perform. Best bet is to try them, with & without impedance matching transformers. You never know, you might just have found some great mics... or not, either way you'll only know by trying...
Regards
Dave

Hi All
Does anyone have opinions / recommendations for Japanese Unisound Dynamic
200 ohm DM-520 stick microphones?
I just found two at a fleamarket, unused, and in their original packaging.
The heads are small, mesh within a cast aluminum (or zinc alloy?) frame and
more easily cuppable than the Shure 520 GB.
They already have an on-off slide switch and would appear to be a simple
matter to add a pot near the end of the stick, any suggestions for rating
assuming the 200 ohms is accurate??
Thanks
Geoff Atkins
