I agree. Let's not get carried away with the inflation of harmonicas. A
new Selmer tenor with a 35% discount is over $4,800 at Sam Ash. Yanagasawa
makes good saxes and their intermediate tenor model is $3,600.

Harmonica is the easiest instrument to carry along and is also
relatively affordable. Comparing the price of a full set of all harp
keys to a saxophone is not fair. Compare the price of a set of all
available harmonica keys (also in the case that you would really need
all of them) to the price of a soprano, tenor and alto saxophone added
up. Still think it is one of the most economical instruments. And most
important, sounds the best.
