As Frank said, if it's dropped that much it's had it I'm afraid, it's just
one of those things i'm afraid - I think of it as metal fatigue but then I
work in mental health not engineering, so i can probably help you more with
the stress and anxiety of it all than the technical no-how.
You can get replacement plates for Sp20s. In the UK you can get them from
Harmonicas Direct and Harponline in Germany, not sure about anywhere else
because i don't live there. Even better and a lot cheaper - you can replace
the individual reed if you can get hold of the reeds, Harponline do them.
If an idiot can do it, it can't be that difficult really.

The 4 draw reed in a Special 20 in D major has gone flat (almost down to
D).
Is it worth trying to tune in back up to E or is it too far gone? Also,
what physically happens to a reed to make it go flat?
