<Anyone know where to buy the Golden Melody harmonicas not made in

Some Hohner Classic diatonic models including the GM are assembled
and tuned in China. However, the reeds and reed plates, which are the
heart of any harmonica, are all made in Germany on the same machine
tools used in the manufacture of the MBDL and Crossover and to the
same specifications. The basic quality of the components is identical
and the only possible differences would lie in the riveting and
offsetting of the reeds, and the tuning accuracy. I've not always
been able to detect a consistent quality difference between
instruments assembled in China and those asembled in Trossingen,
though of course the latter are high end models and get more care.
