Why not try false teeth cleaner? Works OK for me and when you think of what effects teeth is exactly the same as goes into your instrument ...... In the UK there is a brand called Steradent and is in tablet form. Add hot water and dunk the reedplates in the solution and they come back rid of the sugar/saliva coating etc. same as false teeth in a glass..!!
