i think gear CAN make us play better. if yer gear sounds great, you'll want to practice more. i just got 2 lone wolf pedals and i'm having a blast practicing (practice? shocking...) so, my new gear has me playing better cuz i'm practicing. there IS a place for acoustic practice and, even, recording. i went acoustic on my tune 'heaven won't be complete"...altho we dirtied up the harp a bit anyway. check it out: bill frain myspace
