Both affect your playing tremendously if your wife catches you with the owner of the lips upon whom said lipstick is applied.  Sorry couldn't resist.  Obligatory harmonica content. I'm finally teaching myself how to read music.  Man it's hard to learn stuff when on the wrong side of 50. :-)  I read somewhere that Howling Wolf learned his letters and how to read music in his 50s.  If true, what a testimony to the notion that intelligence always finds a way to express itself.
