He uses bebop tuning--and he retunes hole 12 like an augmented.
So just as hole 11 has the blow note, the sharped blow note, the draw note,
and the sharped draw note, so too does the 12th hole have that same
arrangement of tones.
So the C note on hole 12 is blow button, etc
He might be doing something else too but I don't think so.
