Don't feel bad, I was banned as well as I REFUSE to separate the two 
instruments when I discuss HARMONICA.

No great loss, the loss is theirs, I have "0" tolerance for such dogmatic 
thinking..

Stick around here and you get all the answers you want for harps with or 
without buttons and no 'holier than tho' "Tude" from our moderator!

There are MANY Diatonic techniques that can be brought over to the Chromatic 
to make you a better and more innovative player and vice versa as well from 
Chromatic-->Diatonic. But if you are BANNED from discussing that how does 
that help your learning and playing? pretty Bizzare IMO. I respect 
Slidemeister as a list but for me they are useless until they change their 
format.

Hello all,

Well I was banned from slidemeister yesterday. I tried to post the topic, 
"Getting a diatonic sound on a chromatic harmonica", which apparently is a 
forbidden topic on the chromatic forum. The thread was removed and I was 
warned that I had broken the rules. When I protested I was banned.

This is a subject I've always been interested in, and I can't imagine why 
it's discussion is not allowed.

So if this type of discussion is allowed here I'd love to hear your 
thoughts, from chromatic players, diatonic players, or from people who play 
both.
