[Harp-L] Re: Photos of Hohner "blister packs"

Having now seen the pictures (Thanks Rick). It's obvious that online retailers will be charging more for shipping Hohner harmonicas to customers . Either that or they will take it out of the packaging and ship them. Either way their prices will undoubtedly go up as they will charge for their time if they do the packaging removal.

The other thing that comes to mind is that will the same attention be paid to quality control at Hohner now that the harmonica will be untestable at the shop (store) with the bellows?
I know that Andy Garrigue has stated that Hohner return rate for harmonicas is less than 1/2 of 1%. But the reality is, that is only because most of us fix them ourselves if there is a problem.

C'mon Hohner pull your fingers out and open some online stores. Say one in the USA and one in Europe to begin with.

Surely having one major online retailer in each continent would cut down on supply costs enormously (thereby increasing Hohners profits) and also make it easier for musicians to buy what they wanted when they want it.
