He didn't write the head. Saying that doesn't take away from the genius of
that single.
I heard it as a head in a Lionel Hampton tune from long before harp was
amplified. Junior and Walter and probably Snooky and a few others grabbed
that riff and used it for harp. That's totally cool, and Juke is a stone
classic. Noting the organic way blues and jazz have developed this is an
uncontroversial issue, for me anyway.
