Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced - To me, WHAT - separates one player from the next is MORE of [who] "actually" =understands= how to*accurately and convincingly* use the <concepts and techniques> that the player claims to have in their (bag a tricks)...
It is R---E---A---L easy to talk a good harmonica shtick, it's totally another story to truly have the ABILITY to /prove/ that your NOT full of Sh%#.
In other words - if you claim that  your an ADVANCED player and can only use your so-called advanced knowledge and abilities to produce nothing more then  PARLOR TRICKS {Example}> "your unable to use techniques effortlessly in a musical context" Then, let us GET SERIOUS - What? in the hell... are you REALLY +advanced at+.....
