Yes, i play overblows using tongue-block and also learned it that way. 
It's pretty much possible and once you're used to it, it's quite as 
easy or difficult as it playing pucker. However i think you have 
always (not only playing overblows, but generally) some kind of speed 
advantage when playing pucker. So for really fast passages i try to 
switch to pucker now.
