[Harp-L] Sonny Jr Four Ten for sale
Hi everyone
I've decided to sell my Sonny Jr Four Ten. I've had it since February
2006, and it's been so rarely gigged that it deserves better than me!
I'm mainly a keyboard player, don't get to play a lot of harp and
something much smaller would suit me better. It's essentially in
perfect condition, with a custom soft case, tone cap set, 4 extra
preamp tubes, spare rectifier, patch cable (for bridging channels)
and manual. It's 220v and I'm in Dalston, London UK.
I don't need to tell you what a glorious amp it is, many of you have
preceded me. Suffice to say a more serious player than myself
couldn't wish for better.
If anyone's interested, contact me off-list and we'll talk.
Bests to everyone
Jessica
[Note: this is the Four Ten, not the newer Super Sonny, but can be
simply upgraded if desired]

Well I pulled the trigger and bought one of these babies. I call them
babies because I have a feeling Sonny Jr. went through a LOT of
labor to give
birth to these harp amps. And I mean a harp amp! I have spent maybe
only an
hour on the amp, but I already know this is the only amp I will
have to own
until I die. It is special to harp. A tight fit for what I do.
Which is
mostly blues. It sings, cries, floats and flies. Bends are
articulated
clearly, with balls attached. Chords scream! And the 2 bright
channel has a bit
more of a distorted sound ( although I have to play through it
more to find
out more). but I am mostly playing through the 1 normal channel so
far.
