I am getting this very weird feeling at live performances now. The people love you, they go nuts, but somehow the dots no longer connect. Take last Friday, 2800 people, they go nuts , buy CD's but there is this very odd Star Trek disconnect, as if you were some kind of freak show and I don't me the harmonica, I mean the whole idea of live music.

Yes, people are getting less and less used to live music. I think T.V.,video games (wii, x-box, computers) and 'some' prices are running the younger generation. Have you noticed the ages of your audience? Has it changed?

Anybody else getting odd vibes at concerts? The old "I didn't know musicians were still doing this" kind of feel. My life is on my iPod feeling......

People are generally getting lazy It's soooooo easy to just stay home and SEND for entertainment. I think it's better overseas, (where people spend more time OUTSIDE their homes and associating with other people. The U.S. is becoming a country of loners. We don't want hassle. We don't want turmoil. We're not good with adversity.

smo-joe ( p.s. amazing topic)
