I once had a car with no tape player, a long time ago, Bought an incredible cheap one about $2.00's at an overstock place, had it sitting on top dashboard with wires running down to radio.  Window broken, tape player only thing taken.  Window replacement much more than tape player.  Can't even leave stuff you don't want and is obviously cheap.
