Re: [Harp-L] Country tuning - songs?

Hi,
Some other tunes that come to mind that country tuned harps can be useful are "I Can't Stop Loving You," "Blue Christmas," "Red Top," "Walking To New Orleans," and "Wasted Days And Wasted Nights" for starters. Also all sorts of DooWop tunes like "Oh What A Night," "I Only Have Eyes For You."

Ian
I don't use this tuning myself but the obvious tune that comes to mind is
Georgia On My Mind - in F I think and using a Bb harp CT tuning in second
position.

The most famous user of the country tuned harp is Charlie McCoy, if you
check out his website http://www.charliemccoy.com/ and go to 'recordings'
you can download a song list which details all of his recordings, the keys
they're in and what harps he uses.

I hoep this helps

Bill
