It's not just him saying this...

It's common knowledge and blues folklore and just

the kind of gossip and bs that to me makes reading

material & blues history so intersesting.

Anyone that's read "The Little Walter Story - Blues With A Feeling"

has heard the Junior Wells claim. Beyond that...and provable from

recordings is a song (No..I DONT know the title right now) from

Snooky Pryor that was recorded before Juke...that also utilizes

the same opening phrase from Juke. So Snooky also claims to

have been using that Juke phrase...before Juke was ever made.

If I remember right...(damn brain cells) The original title for

Juke was "Your Cat Will Play"?? or something like that.

If someone reading this knows the name of that Tune...

from Snooky & Moody Jones...please step forward.

Anyway, as someone else stated...it wasn't uncommon then,

and still isn't today...for someone to use a head or a theme

from another tune and make it their own.
