That's a good start to the definition of what I meant by blues Nazi.
But you also have to be closed minded about music in general and
typically very selective in your historical accounts of the
music...and really stubborn...and usually mean spirited...and very ego
driven...VERY ego driven...and they like to say there is a strict
definition of what is or isn't blues, but then can't go on to explain
their definition. They usually call the people they're hating on
things like "Junior" and then go into long, rambling, and self serving
stories that involve oodles of name dropping from back in the
day...they also think they have the universe figured out and then
confuse the objective with subjective and vice versa.
For the record, I can list dozens of harp players who are into
traditional harmonica and totally not like this. In fact, I've hardly
ever encountered anyone in the Internet harmonica world who would fit
this title. Also, disliking obs doesn't necessarily equal being a
blues Nazi. Typically, if you are able to play music for a living,
especially blues based stuff, you are not a blues Nazis.
