After 30 + years of playing sp-20's and mb's I had an opertuntity to buy afore mentioned harp.New still in case, price tag asks for 100$ and guitar center lists it for 69$.Gave the lad 20$ and now i realize it's only 8 holes!!Two questions come to mind ;is this a decent instrument to learn chromatic on and what is a good "free" web site to get some type of instruction rather than fumble around for a year or so while i try to unlearn what is as natural as breathing for me on a diatonic?
The Chrometta 8 isn't as bad as the guys say, imho. It really isn't a 'professional quality' instrument, but it's a cheap entry into chromatic harmonicas.

Chrometta 8 Pros:

   * It's cheap. (but you get what you pay for)
   * It's small and easy to handle.
   * It's cheap. ;-)

Chrometta 8 Cons:

   * It's got HUGE holes.
   * It tends to be leaky, so you need more wind to play it..
   * It has a very small 2-octave range in compared with a Chromonica.
   * Some people don't care for the plastic comb.

There will be a learning curve in comparison to a diatonic, but it won't take you a year to learn to play chromatic.

Good Luck!
