I'm not sure it's going to happen. Howard's whole approach has been about
adopting the stock Richter harp and getting totally inside it to uncover
huge potential that no-one realised was there. It's amazing what he's
achieved (not least because it is so difficult), and he's not stopped yet.
That being said, if he did try the PowerBender he would sound stunning out
of the blocks, simply because of his high level of scalar understanding and
incredible technique. Also the PowerBender is a lot easier to work with in
many ways, with the draw bending throughout the range.
He'd grasp the concept very quickly and be doing wonderful fresh new stuff
in no time. And with the ability to overblow all notes 1-10 he'd find a
whole lot of new things to play with. It would be fun to listen to :)
