Todd,

I have a 520D, and when the 520DX came out with the volume control I  
called Shure's parts department to ask about ordering the pot so I  
could retrofit my mic. They sent it to me for free, and quickly. Don't  
know if they'd do that again, but they may have something that would  
work. I've bought a lot of microphones in my work and I've always  
found Shure to be very customer oriented.
